Over 350 Historic Community Briefings Held

On March 5 and 6, 2008, over 350 youth groups in 49 states took part in local Community Briefings as part of the national Take it Back youth Movement. Concerned citizens were encouraged to attend and learn more about alcohol issues that impact their community.

Alcohol is the single most important health issue facing young people today. At the briefings, youth presented data they collected in their own community and presented it to local audiences. They also identified key issues they will be working on in the future based on the research they found.
